Our mission is to open the eyes, minds, and lives of our students, so that they leave our bus reaching for dreams about a future of their own making.
Our goals
Our goals are to provide well-planned, instructional, engaging, character-building, dream-inspiring field trips – for free – for students from local schools and organizations in the Richmond, Virginia area who can profit from this opportunity.
Teaching Tours pays for the outing and does the work.
The entire field trip is designed by Teaching Tours: the planning, paperwork, lunches, instruction, transportation, funding, and chaperoning of students.
A number of schools and organizations have already welcomed the opportunity to work with Teaching Tours. As our funding increases, we will add field trips, giving more and more kids a dream-making experience.
